Ramblings on my vocation and avocations
My name is Lou Perugini. But chances are good that if you are here looking at this website you already know that. In 2022 my wife decided that she wanted to start a food blog, and asked me to help her out with that. At the time I was working for Amazon Web Services so I decided to try and set up her website using WordPress, Amazon Lightsail, and the AWS Marketplace. I thought it would be a good way for me to become more familiar with AWS services. Well, I fell into a rabbit hole called “self hosting” and “home lab”.
I started this blog to teach myself WordPress, primarily to help my wife with her food blog: Lee-Ann’s Love Language Along the way I decided to use this blog to tell you a little about myself, maybe describe my job as well as share with you some of my hobbies, especially this rabbit hole of self hosting and home lab.
